  • The Square: In the heart of downtown Lexington, you’ll find a block of 16 shops known as The Square. Take in the galleries and artist workstations, then grab a bite.

  • Kentucky Horse Park: If you’ve ever loved horses, put this on your list. Explore equine history at the International Museum of the Horse and then meet a few of the residents at a stall-side chat.
  • Mary Todd Lincoln House: This is the family home of the wife of America’s 16th president. She was sophisticated, well-educated, and understood the web of politics. But she was often surrounded by controversy and tragedy. She has an amazing story to tell.
  • The Arboretum State Botanical Garden of Kentucky: Located on the grounds of the University of Kentucky, the grounds are open daily free of charge. The 100 acres feature native and horticultural collections as well as a Children’s Garden.
  • Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company: Put together a tour for your guests so they can enjoy classic Kentucky Bourbon. After a one-hour private tour of the brewery and distillery, enjoy four tastings of your choice.
  • Arts Connect Art Walk: Hook up with a local guide for a walk downtown, discovering art landmarks, visiting galleries, and learning about the individual artists who’ve contributed to Lexington’s culture.
  • Henry Clay’s Ashland: Step back in time and learn more about one of America’s influential statesmen. He was also an attorney, as well as a farmer, and Ashland was Clay’s home for a half-century.
