  • Louisville Mega Cavern: What was once a massive limestone quarry is now a cavern covering 4 million sq. ft. with zip lines and aerial rope courses. Or take it easy with a tram tour and learn the fascinating history of Kentucky’s largest building.
  • Footsteps of Greatness: Stop by the visitor center and pick up a self-guided tour map of the locations that were important to Louisville’s native son Mohammad Ali. There’s also the Mohammad Ali Center, a multi-cultural, award-winning museum.
  • Old Louisville Guided Tours: Enjoy a 60-minute walking tour showcasing one of the largest contiguous collections of Victorian homes. Get in your exercise – and a local history lesson.
  • Churchill Downs: Known as the home of the Kentucky Derby, held the first Saturday of May, Churchill Downs offers more than 70 live racing days. You can also take a guided tour of this historic track.
  • St. James Court Art Show: Held in October in historic Old Louisville, this spectacular show features over 600 juried artists. There are six unique sections to this show set among the Victorian mansions.
